A letter from the battlefield

A collaboration with a co -author friend Anamika!

Oh Dear, of my heart, Listen these words,
Ye worried of danger haunting me,
Around the clock living across the border,
Feeling proud of guardian of this father land,
I swear upon the God, I chose the path to walk on.

The earnest yearning of your heart I support solemnly,
Yet this caring, fearing heart of mine, prays for you so dearly,
This abode, so soulless and lifeless, without you,
Yet, remember, the pride we feel, in our heart about you.

Oh ye cutie pie, the food with much love,
reminds me of those spring rose,
While the breeze cross my heart,
I sense your presence carried along,
I swear upon the God, I will be in thy arms soon.

The brutal realisation of the hardships suffered in your own words,
Tore through my heart, the realisation of missing you lots,
Daughter’s hero you are, not a hint of pain and complain,
Waiting for the day we are back in your arms, never to part again.

Beloved heart, days and nights filled with,
the warm hugs and kisses we shared,
I wish no borders across the nations,
Let the whole world be brothers and sisters,
I swear upon the God,we will have one nation earth!
