Why do the love or romance poems get more likes?

I really don’t know why, my love poems or romantic ones top the most viewed list.I like romance poems and like to write more on this topic. But I would like to catch the glimpse of all the struggles of the life.
What do most of you like to read on the blogs?not only on mine but on others too.

  1. Now I will give you an A+ for asking us… well love is just a beautiful feeling… and people incline to write more about their feelings… πŸ™‚ but I do like any genre and any theme… whether dark, sad, or romantic… every poet here is special… and they deserve to be read… πŸ™‚ nice one and i do like your blogs… πŸ™‚

    1. Yes true but relatively most of the likes go to the love theme πŸ™‚ this is my study, you just post some love story or poem or anything related to romance, your blog will be flooded with traffic πŸ™‚

  2. Love and romance are universal languages reaching even beyond humans.. So it’s easier for many to understand it better than other genre..

As for the next part, any post on anything, written with your whole heart for the sake of writing, rather than likes or comments, would be awesome.. Since, it has some unspeakable beauty, when so much of heart is poured into a work..

    1. Yes,always I don’t write anything if I don’t feel of writing or if doesn’t make any impact on the reader πŸ™‚ so writing for myself is not a writing but it can be a personal diary πŸ™‚

    1. You are exactly right, the erotica genre gets more followers, all the people have their hidden desires πŸ™‚ one of my followers had erotica content and she apparently wrote that she got 2000 more followers in few days, then she turned to her true self,I think she writes only marketing stuff and I felt that is just to get people she used erotica content at the start πŸ™‚ thanks for the support

  4. Oh..
I always have thought the same question..
    this very same doubt ..
And I felt maybe thinking that way was weird; πŸ˜€
because the world defines love as “heavenly & inexplicable”
Now that you have asked the same thought I feel a bit lot “normal” πŸ™‚

P.S : I am never against love or against any derivatives of love. I really really understand love πŸ˜€ and I mean it..
But I am really intrigued the way art always “revolves” around love !! πŸ™‚

      1. So looks like both of us are thinking in the same direction πŸ™‚
Now on why Love; maybe because it’s a lovely feeling..always profound, and can be expressed in a million ways πŸ™‚
Or maybe, art starts in love. This I have noticed; people tend to write when they are under Cupid’s spell; the first attempt comes a lot from love or lost love πŸ™‚
It’s not just a matter of preference; because if that was the condition; then there would be so much less art based on love. Love is everywhere and almost anybody to everybody have an affinity to it.
        But why??
        I really don’t know πŸ™‚

  5. Being in love creates vulnerability. Vulnerability is a human condition that everyone has experienced in one way or another. People gravitate toward reading things that they find themselves in. People all relate to vulnerability and also what it feels like to be vulnerable and to have to trust another person.
It is also part of the human condition to have to trust someone, at some point, for our lives, our stability, our emotional / mental health or something. Everyone can see themselves in writings that have to do with the need, the fear and the blessings that can happen when we have to trust another person.

  6. This is the problem with the world. When I write on social issues , no like !
    When I switched to sad poems , some likes ( 2-3 ).
Later on , poems on ‘love ‘ fetched me 14 likes . πŸ˜›

  7. I suppose it’s aspirational if you aren’t in love and all-enveloping if you are. Therefore pretty much everyone wants to read about it. For me the extremes of the human condition are very readable but so are the fringes and the bits of experience that have nothing to do with normal emotions. Totally unhelpful response there – sorry πŸ˜‰

      1. Not necessarily all in one shot, obviously. I’m not great at reading anything of great length, at least not on a blog. If I read a post, I will nearly always comment. If I have taken the time to read it in the first place, the least I can do is leave a comment. This isn’t always possible but I will do my absolute best, time permitting. My blog is diverse, much like my tastes.

      2. That’s so great of you, and I wish I will do the same but at times I will read and won’t leave a comment unless I really want to comment. But you are quite interesting, thanks for stopping by my blog.

  8. Because exception is rare, same kind of people everywhere.love & romance usually attracts everyone.Liking and understanding the philosophy is an exception. If one writes the same poem on love in a complex philosophical manner,a vast number of people won’t like that.Understanding is necessary to be liked.Understanding isn’t easy.

    1. That’s good comment, I really feel we should express in a language who can understand it easily rather expressing our own mind….if we want to communicate we should do it how people can understand..thanks
