Fledgling

Mumbled words that you uttered,
under muddy water of melted ice,
where concealed your beautiful face,
Numbed eyes shed those frozen tears;

I, a passers-by picked up,
the soaked body of you,
brought up to the bank,
drained those tainted heart;

the slices of the broken life,
you left off on the midway,
my hands stitched those pieces,
animated those breathless body;

budding feathers of your wings,
bid adieu my friendship forever,
nestling bird you were before,
you are flying above the head.
